2. Dargah of Hazrat Shah Paran (R)

Dargah of Hazrat Shah Paran (R) is one of the spiritual establishments of Sylhet city. Hazrat Shah Paran (RA) was the nephew and main follower of Shah Jalal (RA), a preacher of Islam who came to Bangladesh from the Middle East.

Bisnakandi is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Sylhet. It is located in Rustampur union of Gowainghat Upazila. Bisnakandi is basically a stone quarry like Jaflong and Bholaganj. Many steps of the Khasia hills on the Bangladesh-India border come from both sides and meet at Bichnakandi. 5. Volagonj (Sada Pathor)

6. Ratargul Swamp Forest

Ratargul is the only swamp forest in Bangladesh. It is also called the 'Amazon of Bangladesh'. It is located in Gowainghat Upazila, about 26 km from Sylhet district town. The Ratargul forest covers an area of ​​about 30,325 acres. This vast area consists of 504 acres of forest and the rest is filled with small and large water bodies. However, in the rainy season, the whole area looks the same.

This forest is known as the 'Sundarbans of Sylhet'. Ratargul wetlands are submerged for four to five months in a year. Then tourists from different parts of Bangladesh comes to see the submerged forest trees. In the rainy season, various species of birds can be seen on the branches of trees, and then some wild animals also take shelter in the branches of trees.

The best time to visit Ratargul is usually from July to October (late monsoon).

7. Keane Bridge
